What is this Game?
Core x Core is a Fast Paced 2D Game, Where You Destroy Enemies to protect Two Cores, The Goal The Enemies Try To Destroy. Killing Enemies Rewards You Gold, Which You Can Use To Buy Items, Power-ups, and Health For The Cores.
How Does It Fit With The Theme?
The Entire Game Revolves Around The Dynamic Nature Of Having Two Objectives for the Enemies, Making it Harder and More Interesting.
What About Assets?
All Art and Code was Made During The Jam Period. The Music was Made By A Friend, Before The Jam, However. I Couldn't Make My Own Song...
Are You A Beginner?
This Is My First Game Published To itch.io, and I Only Have Around 2-3 Months Worth Of Game Dev Knowledge, so, at least to me, I Am.
I hope you enjoy the game! It was a crazy journey to get to this point, but i'm glad i'm here now. I have every intention of playing as many other Jam Games as possible, right after I get some sleep :)

A nice little game! I really like the simple aesthetics, sounds, music, and the simple controls. I would have liked an upgrade to increase the hit area of my shots to hit the smaller targets more easily.
The screen shake felt a small bit off as it felt like it were in the way of aiming, especially on the smaller targets when everything starts to swarm. It also felt like I wasn't rewarded enough for shooting down bigger enemies when all enemies were only worth 1 point each. if it had been 1, 2, and 5 it would have felt better. :)
Aside from that I feel like it's a solid prototype with great potential!
